Metal Stamping Process
FastenMetal own advanced and highly efficient punching machines, enabling us to manufacture a wide variety of stamping parts with precision and reliability.
The stamping process need multiple steps, including material preparation, mold design and manufacturing, stamping production, and post-processing. Below is a detailed explanation of the stamping process:
1.Material Preparation:Select suitable materials based on customer requirements, such as steel sheets, aluminum sheets, etc.
2.Mold Design and Manufacturing
Product Design:Create a 3D model of the stamped part according to customer specifications.
Mold Design:Design the stamping mold based on the product design drawings.
Notice:We must consider factors such as material flow, stamping force distribution, and mold durability during the design process.
Mold Manufacturing:Use high-precision machining methods such as CNC machining and EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining) to produce the mold.
After manufacturing, assemble and test the mold to ensure its precision and stability.
3.Stamping Production
Mold Installation:Install the completed mold onto the stamping machine and perform initial adjustments.
Stamping Process:
Feeding: Feed the prepared material into the stamping machine’s input port.
Stanzen: The stamping machine applies force to the material, causing plastic deformation or separation to form the desired stamped part.
Part Removal: Once stamping is complete, remove the stamped part from the mold.
Quality Inspection:Conduct comprehensive quality checks on the stamped parts, including dimensions, appearance, and performance, to ensure they meet the required standards.
