Stud Bolts for Flanges

Stud bolts are commonly used in flange connections due to its easy of installation and removal.Because of  their double-ended structure, installation and removal are more convenient and efficient. There is no need to install nuts and washers separately; a single wrench is enough.At the other hand, stud bolts improved contact and tightness.during the connection process, stud bolts provide more uniform contact with washers and the flange surface, resulting in a tighter and more secure connection. This helps prevent issues such as loosening caused by insufficient tightness with single-headed bolts.

However, not all flange connections require stud bolts. If the stress between connected components is relatively low, single end threaded rod can be used. Other types of bolts may also be selected based on specific circumstances.
