When selecting U-bolts, the first thing to consider is their grade. U-bolts are mainly categorized into high strength U bolts and standard U bolts. High-strength U-bolts are typically made from materials like 45# steel, 40CrB steel, or 20MnTiB steel, making them suitable for applications requiring high tensile strength, such as outdoor engineering and wind power projects. Common grades are 8.8s and 10.9s. Standard U-bolts are usually made from Q235 steel and are often used in small machinery, such as turbines, with strength grades typically being 4.4, 4.8, 5.6, and 8.8.
